That is the state that I am aiming at reaching, being the observer. When I do not trust that what I am observing is perfect “I” stop the supreme intelligence that Life is from flowing.
Those are the actions of ego. But if I AM aware, the I notices that every time the great deceiver, the ego that I falsely identify with at times, comes into play, the I that I AM is not present. Awareness cannot exist in the limited view of the ego.
Bringing my awareness to what I AM, brings harmony, truth and beauty back to life. To be able to relax and not feel the need for the ego to go in and correct the flow that otherwise happens effortlessly, I need to trust that things are perfect as they are.
For me to trust that they are perfect as they are, I need all the help I can get. Walking through a dark room can be achieved with comfort if you have someone to guide you through it, someone you trust who you know have walked that road before. And in lack of such a teacher to show you the way, you need only open your eyes. Because the action of seeing is a dual one, the light goes both ways and the act of observing creates what you see. So when you look with proper vision, you emanate light, and your path appears in front of you. When you do not look properly, darkness prevails, and the path is not visible.
By seeing the path to enlightenment, we arrive.

I enjoyed reading this, thank you, especailly this part: "To be able to relax and not feel the need for the ego to go in and correct the flow that otherwise happens effortlessly, I need to trust that things are perfect as they are"
ReplyDeleteThat is so very true, and I can only say that when I am in that place of my ego not trying to correct the flow, then it really is an amazing feeling, and the faith you suddenly feel for the universe's plan is overwhelming! Bring it on!!
